Question: Can Chris Stapleton break any new ground on his latest album?
Answer: Not particularly. It's a pleasant listen, but the question is are all Stapleton albums the same? Solid tracks, if a bit forgettable? Also, there's a lot of Stapleton screaming, which is kind of a headache. Like those MNF promos where he's belting "In the Air Tonight". There's a reason Phil didn't sing every line at top voice.
