Worn out

It's Friday the 15th, and I'm just worn out. I'm about to go to a St Matt's Men's Retreat, and I don't think it could come at a better time. If I went home, I'd probably just want to go to sleep. My back has been aching all week. I had tires replaced yesterday and then a complication this morning. A sensor was tripped in the process of installing a new air filter. I had to work at home this morning, and I was hoping to have the full day here, so it made me angry. Well, along with the uncertainty around the car. Am I going to miss the kids and being home tonight? Probably not. It'll be a nice light weekend up until Sunday, then the Thanksgiving craziness approaches. With my back being the way it is, I'm just tired. I have to take it one day at a time and not make bad decisions with food.

It was nice to meet with Borchers and Bliehmehl (sp) on Wednesday. One thing to remember is that Levi is just a kid of seven, that with all his giftedness he's still just a kid.

Rossiter Road- Ahmad Jamal

I've been playing Crystal by Ahmad Jamal in the car lately. I find a lot in each song, but Rossiter Road is largely uneventful, kind of meandering.
